A funny story about the snapshot above: to get this shot, I had Allen drop me off after we had driven across the stream, then he backed up and crossed it again for the camera. Later that day we saw two other tourists, also in a rented jeep, doing the exact same thing.

I'm still kicking myself for not bringing my camera when we returned to the volcano at night - it's amazing to watch the glowing lava trickling down the slopes.
you should see an image here Monteverde "Cloudy Forest" Park wasn't at all cloudy, but it sure was forested.
You can't tell from the photo above, but this suspension bridge is about a hundred feet up in the air.
