Northwest Cannon

Cannon Mountain, 7 April 2007

	For much of the day it was snowing, with no views.
	The trees were covered in a combination of rime and snow.
	Even the trail signs were half-covered.
	Rime on a stand of firs.
	Finally the clouds began to lift. View south along I-93 from near the summit.
	View east over Franconia Notch toward Mt Lincoln, which is still in the clouds.
	A southeasterly view toward the Lafayette Place parking area and the highway south of the Notch.
	View northeast over Eagle Cliff.
	View east to Mt Lafayette - still in the clouds.
	A view due south-southwest over the Cannon Balls to North Kinsman and South Kinsman.
