ToadShades and Trout Lilies, April 2011

This gallery includes photos from two short walks, about a week apart, to the same location - a half-overgrown garden on a property that was once residential.

	This is some species of Trillium, but not one native to Massachusetts.
	It's one of the species commonly called "toadshade."
	The trout lilies (Erythronium americanum) were barely open.
